Weaving Hair
Weaving hair is wefted hair that is sewn or bonded ( with hair glue) into a track ready for the weaving process.
Sewn wefted hair extensions are held together with a band of fine threads that comes in two types, machine made and hand tied.
Hand tied wefts are made by tying strands of hair around a strong weaving thread, this process is done by hand. Our hand tied wefts are much thinner than machine wefts because of the precision involved, and lay flat on the scalp. Hand tied wefts are lighter and resists shredding better.
Skin wefts are a type of hand tied weft where the hairs are hand knotted on a very thin mono-mesh base which has a polyurethane coating. They are called skin wefts because they are invisible without seams and lay flat to match your scalp. They are applied by using a hair glue on the inner surface of the strip and attached on to your own hair. They look natural without any noticeable bumps.
Machine wefts are made by sewing strands of hair together with a hair sewing machine.
